Introduction into vacuum technology and tests for producing skateboards for the training centre

The BFI (Vocational Promotion Institute for Upper Austria) in Steyr is a project supporting youths aged between 15 and 25 years with difficulties (unemployment, social discrimination, etc.). They offer qualified training in the fields of wood, metal, catering and administration.
A very important part of the work is to enable the youths to participate long term in the job market.

Mr. Dietmar Hubmann, trainer in the department of wood work, visited us together with his trainees.

We began by testing the production of skateboards, demonstrating how to use the membrane for pressing. This was followed by giving the trainees an overview and short introduction into the field of vacuum technology.

We are pleased that we could offer the youths an exciting and informative day and we thank them for their cooperation.
