Area of Application

VACUFORM is a large-format vacuum-membrane press with a operating surface that can be tilted into an upright position (this saves 2 m2 of work space).
The press is ideal for form-gluing and form-coating of exclusive furniture parts - both custom manufacture and small series!

Work pieces

Layer-gluing with VACUFORM:
All conventional form such as rounded or curled furniture parts

Form-veneering and form-coating with VACUFORM:
Simple profiles such as round-head bars, profile beadings, boards and surfaces with rounded edges, limited interior radii, exterior radii starting from R = 15mm

Compatible Materials

Work piece substrates:

all conventional materials such as veneer, MDF, HDF, chipboard, plywood, massive wood, PUR, etc.

Veneering/Coating materials:

all conventional veneers, PVC, HPL, PET, polyester, etc.

Glues:

all conventional glues such as PVAc glues, urea glues, PU-glues
using glues with short setting times, the additional heating cover permits quick pressing cycles with no waiting time

During form-gluing processes, pay special attention to the resetting forces of the work piece substrates! If strong resetting forces apply, especially strong glues should be used (formaldehyde, PUR, etc.)
