Area of Application
SINUS is a highly elastic vacuum pouch used for layer-gluing, form-veneering and form-coating of arched and curled parts and profiles.
The SINUS pouch is open on one of its short sides, and the VACUFLEX pouch on one of its long sides - both can be closed tightly with a sealing rail.
Work pieces
Form-gluing:
all conventional shapes such as arched and curled furniture parts, S-shapes and U-shapes, especially large parts for bars and counter tops
Form-veneering and form-coating:simple profiles such as round-head bars, profile beadings, boards and
surfaces with rounded edges, limited inside radii, outside radii
starting from R = 15 mm
Compatible Materials
Work piece substrates:
all conventional materials such as MDF, HDF, chipboard, plywood, massive wood, PUR, etc.
Veneering/Coating materials:: all conventional veneers, PVC, HPL, PET, polyester, etc.
Glues: all conventional glues
During form-gluing processes, pay special attention to the resetting
forces of the work piece substrates! If strong resetting forces apply,
especially strong glues should be used (formaldehyde, PUR, etc.)
