The following Rollers can be supplied for the Pfohl Glue Applicator

Plastic Roller, white, KST Rough surface of closed cells, therefore no swelling when being kept in water. Surface resistant to injuries, easy to wash, suitable for white glue, kaurit glues and hot press glues. Roller somewhat harder, with weaker glue coating.
Maintenance: Due to the plastic quality of closed cells, this roller can be kept in water after its application of white glue, without cousing it to swell. Whenusing hot press glues or caurit glues, this roller is being simply washed off.

Rollers of Natural Rubber SG Sponge Rubber Roller, red standard roller for white glues, pastes and other adhesives which can be diluted by water. It is advisable to get a second sponge rubber roller so that one of them can always be washed and  dried while the other one is on operation.
Maintenance: Some glues are apt to cause the sponge rubber roller to swell. Such swelling of the rollers can easily be avoided by proper treatment of the sponge roller. The sponge roller will be cleaned thoroughly after working hours as follows: Pull the axle out of the roller, then put the roller with the aperture on top over the water tap, press it  firmly, turn on the water tap end also close the lower end of the roller. By this way the inside glue will be pressed by the water from the inside to the outside, so that the roller is almost free of glue within two minutes. Thereupon the roller is set up for drying 24 hours. When using the Pfohl Glue Applicator permanently, an employment of a second sponge rubber roller is recommended, thus every roller can dry for 24 hours. The above described cleaning refers only to sponge rubberrollers.

Moss Rubber Roller, grey, MG, with ribbed, poreless surface, likewise for white glues, but also for glues with hardenings (caurit glues). This roller provides a thinner spreading, e.g. for veneering work on veneers with rough pores. Very easy to wash.
Maintenance: Due to the closed surface, this roller is very easy to clean. However there has to be taken special care that the surface will not be damaged by wringing, drawing, scratching etc., as in such cases the glue might penetrate into the roller and causes it also to swell. A removal of the glue out of the roller is then no more possible, for which reason it is recommended to treat this roller with care as described above. The more possible, for which reason it is recommended to treat this roller with care as described above. The material of this roller is not acidproof, so that it must not be cleaned with nitro dilution or turpentine.

Moss Rubber Roller, solventproof, rust-brown, MGV, middle soft, suitable for neoprene glues and hardening agents, nitrolacs, laying of ground colours, impregnations and adhesives for ground  floors.
Maintenance: For the maintenance of this roller pertains the same procedure as for the solid roller VG, inasmuch as processing of adhesives or lacquer is concerned. After the processing of water soluble glues, the roller should be cleaned with water and then dried.

Solid Rubber Roller, brown VG, resistant against solutions, middle hard, suitable for adhesives which contain solvents of all kind, also solutions of rubber.
Maintenance: After termination of work this roller has to be cleaned by a brush or a rag with a solvent and then exposed to the air. By no means the roller should be left several hours in the solvent. Though the special roller is not dissolving, the roller is slightly extending, so that it will not fit tightly anymore on the axle. According to the glue that has been applied the Pfohl Glue Applicator shall be cleaned like the used roller.
