Save time and costs – with vacuum technology!

Laminate without a female former and save working time and material!

Using vacuum technology for laminating you need only a male former (NO female former).

This saves you not only material and working time; it makes it also much easier to handle big work pieces.

It is so simple:

  • Make the male former as usual, if possible build a positive mould (radius of the shape outside).

  • If you want to veneer the top layer it is an advantage to sand the veneer layers before laminating. You can do the final sanding with a machine (e.g. wide belt sander) which makes the finishing work easier!

  • Apply the adhesive on the layers for laminating and place them on the former securing them with masking tape or stretch film.

  • Now place the former with the secured layers for laminating in a vacuum device (e.g. membrane press or vacuum bag).

  • The air is evacuated and through the built up vacuum the form is pressed!

Vacuum technology is used throughout our wide product range. This technology has been perfected as a result of our experience for over than 30 years:
