Area of Application

CONTURA is a highly flexible, permanently elastic pressing cushion that can be inserted in your standard veneer press. The veneer press thus acquires the functions of a membrane press. With CONTURA, you can coat raised panels as well as on rounded or chamfered fronts (softforming fronts) with standard veneers.

Raised panels:

Fronts rounded on four sides:

Chipboard, plywood, MDF, HDF and similar materials

Veneering materials: 

Standard veneers ranging from 0.2 to 1.4 mm (aligned with the radii of the profiles);

Polyester - based laminates, other plastic materials

Adhesives: 

All adhesives normally used in standard veneer presses.
