Customer Zöllner manufactures for Acrylic Couture
The reason why we again report in connection with Acrylic Couture's acrylic glass creations in this blog is that we do not want to deprive our customers and prospects of the enormously promising and profitable processing possibilities of the material with Columbus vacuum presses. A detailed report about the material itself can be found here in a separate blog about Acrylic Couture.
However, today we report on a special project of our customer Zöllner Kunststoffprodukte. The company recently realized a project in cooperation with Acrylic Couture. The project outcome was an absolute world premiere: the first acrylic chair by Acrylic Couture, designed by Christop Lowitz and custom-made by our client Zöllner Kunststoffe using the raw material of Acrylic Couture. The chair is called "abbraccio" and was presented to the public for the first time at the EAST DESIGN Show.
Acrylic Couture describes it with the words: „Stunning design out of acrylic, combined with cushions made of precious fabrics, make this chair become a favorite piece of furniture. You will not want to get up from it…“
For manufacturing: Zöllner used the Columbus vacuum press PERFORMER, this application is also possible with PIONEER. The material can be very easily heated and subsequently brought into any desired shape. We are very pleased that Zöllner Kunststoffprodukte uses a Columbus vacuum press for the realization of their projects and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their trust. As we have heard, more projects are already on the way to production. We wish you continued success and many more profitable and beautiful projects.
